Jumbies

Hi,

This  book is called "The Jumbies" by Tracey Baptiste. I think it's an amazing book and probably it will make my list of Favorite books for Jan and Feb!!!

If you will want to read it this is the jist of it:

Corinne La Mer isn't afraid of anything especially the " Jumbies" that aren't even real.  When this beautiful woman comes to town and goes straight to the town witch Corinne is suspicious who is this woman, thats what the  whole town is thinking. When this same beautiful woman comes to Corinne's house and makes him a suspicious meal Corinne immediately throws it away.  This beauty calls herself Serverine But as more and more of this story unravels it leads to the secrets of the woods and to the secrets of Corinne's dead mother.

I'd say this is a very good book and definitely deserves reading!!!
